got this as a sample review and will focus on why I think the sound quality and comfort are worthy of the highest rating I gave. on sound quality, these phones are in harmony with the present technology. What I mean by that is almost every brand I've tested by 2014 fourth quarter was significantly better than previous generations of these phones. This pair is no exception. the entire frequency range these play music with a full mid range, a high end is solid, even at high volume and low which is loud and deep. If you are listening to modern music that is low-centric will be happy. If you are accustomed to jazz and other forms of music where the bass is not more prominent in the mix
